Finding where to vote just got a little easier. Our latest integration with MapQuest is live, just in time for the November election.

MapQuest users can look up their options for early voting and polling places on Election Day right inside the app, then get turn-by-turn directions. No extra searching, no switching between websites: just the information voters need, in a tool people already rely on to get where they're going.

How it works

With the new integration, voters can:

  • Find nearby voting locations. See early voting locations and Election Day polling places close to them.
  • Check hours and details. Get opening hours and other helpful information before heading out.
  • Navigate right to the polls. Go from search to directions without leaving the app.

Why this matters

At Democracy Works, we believe in meeting voters where they already are, by delivering information to them on the platforms they use every day. MapQuest helps millions of people get where they’re going, and now that includes the polls.

“Finding where to vote should be easy. Working with Democracy Works means we can take people from ‘Where can I vote?’ to ‘Here’s how to get there’ in one place.”
- Doug Berger, General Manager, MapQuest

Behind every search is official, accurate voting location data, available to voters nationwide. With MapQuest, finding your polling place can be as easy as finding a coffee shop.

See it in action

Whether you're planning to vote early or on Election Day, Tuesday November 3rd, open MapQuest to find your nearest voting location, check the hours, and get directions.
