ABOUT US

We create tools, technology, and data to protect and power our democracy.

Democracy Works is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that works with election officials, tech platforms like Google and TikTok, nonprofit groups like AARP and DoSomething, academic institutions like Princeton University and University of Florida, and workplaces like Starbucks and Salesforce to help voters whenever and wherever they need it.

Founded in 2010, we’ve guided 15 million voters through the process and supported election officials at over 30,000 polling places. And, Democracy Works tools are the #1 way voters find accurate, up-to-date voting information online. Yep, our data was viewed over 500 million times in 2020 alone.

We power our democracy.

Our work is driving voter access and participation nationwide. And we’ve got big plans ahead. Check out our Impact Report to see what we’ve accomplished and what’s next.
