For voters, one of the most important questions on Election Day is also one of the simplest: Where do I go to vote?
Too often, answering that question requires extra steps—clicking away to another site, re-entering an address, or sorting through confusing webpages.
At Democracy Works, we’re focused on reducing that friction across the voter journey. Now, we’re continuing that work with improvements to TurboVote’s Where to Vote experience.
Bringing Voting Locations Directly into the Voter Experience
With these updates, voters can now see early voting locations, ballot drop-off locations, and Election Day polling places directly within their personalized Election Guide.
There’s no redirect or starting over on another site. Instead, voters get the clear, relevant information right where they already are, alongside the other details needed to vote.
- Enter an address and instantly see where to vote
- View details on the voting location, including hours of operation
- Get directions with a single click
- Results available directly within the TurboVote experience
For existing users, locations automatically populate using their saved address.

Built for How Partners Engage Voters
TurboVote powers voter engagement for hundreds of organizations. These updates make it easier for partners to connect their audiences with clear, actionable information.
Partners can now:
- Share a dedicated where-to-vote search experience
- Link directly to early voting or Election Day options
- Create more seamless calls to action
Democracy Works sources voting location data from election officials nationwide; a calendar of future election coverage is available here. If data for an election is not yet available, TurboVote directs voters to official election office resources so nobody is left without guidance.
TurboVote already helps voters check their registration, understand their ballot, and receive election reminders. Now, finding where to vote is just as seamless.
