BigTentUSA Embeds TurboVote to Engage Their Audience

In an increasingly partisan political landscape, BigTentUSA is working to preserve democracy, defend women’s rights, and protect the safety and well-being of Americans, especially children, all with a nonpartisan approach. The organization has integrated TurboVote into several support and outreach channels to help achieve its mission.

An essential part of BigTentUSA’s TurboVote implementation has been the use of embeds to launch a voting hub on their site. Rather than sending their audience to their TurboVote destination site, they’ve instead embedded TurboVote into several pages of their own website to drive their audience to organizational content and keep visitors as engaged as possible. To spread awareness about these pages, BigTentUSA has posted links to their voting hub on social media, included them in their newsletter, and highlighted TurboVote during their virtual events. They also implemented QR codes sending voters to their voting hub as part of their voter engagement efforts.

“TurboVote has attracted new visitors to our website, and we've received numerous compliments from our members who appreciate our proactive approach to GOTV efforts,” BigTentUSA Vice President Jill Ciporin said. ”Our members and partners are also enthusiastic about sharing our links, feeling that they, too, are contributing to getting out the vote. There is so much information to gain once a person digs into the election information for their state and we’ve heard that people are really enjoying this.”

BigTentUSA decided to partner with TurboVote after researching several platforms. Key factors for this decision were TurboVote’s customer service and the valuable tips they received on how to maximize the benefits for their organization.

“We’ve been truly impressed by the partnership with TurboVote,” Ciporin notes. “Whenever I’ve needed questions answered or strategies discussed, I’ve always had a contact who responds promptly.”
